THE DUNDEE FRESH GROCERY STORE WILL BE AT 19 UNION STREET . We have been busy buying furnishings and equipment for the store. We just installed the new overhead door in the front of the building. We now have a custom built Walk-in refrigerator. We are busy furnishing the store. The store will be a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Grocery, similar to other 501(c)(3) groceries in the general area –  Greater Good Grocery in Binghamton and Bargain Grocery in Utica The store will be largely funded by a $560,000 grant from the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, being provided over 3 years. Besides selling grocery items such as fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, dairy items, frozen meats, and pantry staples, a  Commercial Kitchen operated by volunteers will make grab and go items, hot prepared lunch and dinner entrees, salads, sandwiches, etc. to sell in the store.
