WE ARE HIRING OUR MANAGER
Dundee Fresh Grocery, Inc. is seeking a store manager to oversee daily operations of the store and facility, recruit and train staff, maintain store inventory; stock shelves, handle all store purchasing; responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable; responsible for maintaining the store's electronic POS system.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; General Bookkeeping/Accounting experience preferred, Experience with QuickBooks a plus; Management and/or customer service experience preferred; Good organizational skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills; Good math and computer skills; Requires the physical ability to stock multilevel shelves, lift up to 45 pounds, push, pull, lift and carry. Hours may include evenings, will include weekends and some holidays.
Salary range $44,000 to $54,000.

THE DUNDEE FRESH GROCERY STORE WILL BE AT 19 UNION STREET Steve and Crystal Dean, the new owners of the building, are working to get a 1700 square foot area in the west side of the building ready for DFG Inc to lease for a grocery store and commercial kitchen. The store will be a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Grocery, similar to other 501(c)(3) groceries in the general area – Greater Good Grocery in Binghamton and Bargain Grocery in Utica The store will be largely funded by a $560,000 grant from the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, being provided over 3 years. Besides selling grocery items such as fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, dairy items, frozen meats, and pantry staples, a Commercial Kitchen operated by volunteers will make grab and go items, hot prepared lunch and dinner entrees, salads, sandwiches, etc. to sell in the store. There will be a coffee bar and store made snacks, with a few tables for folks to enjoy a coffee and chat with friends and other shoppers. Opening date is not yet established. Check here for updates. Our Mission: to provide access to fresh and wholesome foods to support the health of the community. We plan to open a brick and mortar grocery store in the village of Dundee to support this mission.
