We Couldn't do This Without Support!

With a few more weeks of fresh grocery distribution for the 2024 season, Dundee Fresh Grocery, Inc. would like to say thank you so much to everyone that helped this year.

So much gratitude

Many thanks to the Yates Community Endowment at Rochester Area Community Foundation for the grant that made this project possible.

Thanks also go to:

  • The Village of Dundee who hosted the distributions at the Village Barn

  • Wixson Honey (Jerry and Andy Howell) for the use of the truck and driving

  • Glenora Farms for their truck, and Earl Andrews as an occasional driver

  • The approximately 30 willing people who came each week to help make the distribution a success.

The Dundee Fresh Grocery, Inc. would like to make sure that everyone knows how grateful they are for these helpers.

What we’ve accomplished with your 2024 help

Each week residents received a bag of 5 different types of produce purchased at the FInger Lakes Produce Auction. Twice members received an 8 ounce package of local cheese, once from Crosswinds Farm & Creamery and once from Shtayburne Farm. Approximately 340 families were serviced each week, with a total of 480 registered.

Dundee Fresh Grocery, Inc., has completed six weekly distributions of fresh produce to Dundee Central School District residents as of September 19th. We anticipate two more produce distribution weekends for this season.
